This commitment is deeply rooted in Feedzai\u2019s DNA, as we understand the role of responsible and ethical practices in the mitigation of our operations\u2019 impact on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, this Policy reflects our guiding principles and strategies for achieving a more sustainable future and to minimize our ecological footprint.<\/p>\n<p>Please also read our <a href=\"https:\/\/feedzai.com\/legal\/feedzai-esg-statement\/\">ESG Statement<\/a> to get familiar with some of Feedzai\u2019s initiatives.<\/p>\n<h5><b>UN Global Compact Principles<\/b><\/h5>\n<p>Feedzai selected the <a href=\"https:\/\/unglobalcompact.org\/what-is-gc\/mission\/principles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UN Global Compact Principles<\/a> as a general guide to conduct its business in terms of sustainability. Based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization\u2019s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the UN Global Compact ten principles cover topics related to Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><b>Our Principles<\/b><\/h5>\n<h6><b>Environmental Commitment<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>We believe in the power of sustainability in shaping a better future. As such, we are deeply committed to integrating sustainable practices into our operations and throughout our day-to-day, namely in our offices.<\/p>\n<p>As part of our environmental strategy we strive to take proactive steps to protect and preserve the planet. This includes implementing energy consumption reduction measures, promoting responsible resources management (for example, by managing the consumption of water and adopting paperless practices), minimizing waste, using hybrid or electric vehicles,\u00a0 etc.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, our ambition is to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. This commitment is a critical part of our ESG program and reflects our dedication to mitigating climate change and fostering a sustainable future.<\/p>\n<h6><b>Social Responsibility<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>Feedzai is committed to the promotion and protection of human rights and the well-being and safety of all employees.<\/p>\n<p>Our internal policies cover our practices in respect to human rights protection, namely regarding the prohibition of discrimination and harassment and the promotion of diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>To find more about our social responsibility practices, please see our <a href=\"https:\/\/feedzai.com\/modern-slavery-act\/\">Modern Slavery Statement<\/a> and our <a href=\"https:\/\/feedzai.com\/legal\/feedzai-code-of-business-conduct-and-ethics\/\">Code of Business Conduct and Ethics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h6><b>Sustainable Procurement\u00a0<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>As a software company, we have a simple supply chain, composed by different service providers related to revenue\/ non-revenue services.<\/p>\n<p>We recognize the role that sustainable procurement plays in the promotion of responsible business practices and in mitigating environmental and social impacts. Therefore, we require that our service providers abide by the same principles we pursue.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, we are committed to carrying out due diligence on our vendors, including by screening potential suppliers, to ensure they align with our values, and meet and acknowledge the standards set forth in our <a href=\"https:\/\/feedzai.com\/legal\/feedzai-vendor-compliance-guide\/\">Vendor Compliance Guide<\/a>. This <a href=\"https:\/\/feedzai.com\/legal\/feedzai-vendor-compliance-guide\/\">Vendor Compliance Guide<\/a> serves as a framework that sets forth our expectations and requirements for ethical conduct, and environmental and social responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Through these measures, we intend to build a sustainable supply chain that aligns with our commitment to making a positive impact on the planet and society as a whole<\/p>\n<h6><b>Ethical Commitment<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>Feedzai is also committed to conducting its business in compliance with the highest standards of business ethics and with the law in the countries in which it operates.<\/p>\n<p>For that purpose, Feedzai has a Compliance Program which includes several policies and procedures, including an anti-corruption policy, trade sanctions and anti-money laundering compliance policy, whistleblowing policy, etc., all aligned with industry best practices. Please refer to our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics for more information.<\/p>\n<h6><b>Continuous Improvement<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>We acknowledge and understand that the path to sustainability is an ongoing and long-term journey, and we are focused on continuously improving our practices.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, we shall periodically review and report our sustainability performance, set company targets, and actively pursue innovation to strive to be and do better.<\/p>\n<h6><b>Accountability and Transparency<\/b><\/h6>\n<p>We are resolved in our commitment to implement this policy effectively at Feedzai. With the guidance of our ESG Team, a clear roadmap with deliverables, roles and responsibilities was created to achieve the success of Feedzai\u2019s sustainability agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, we acknowledge the importance of accountability and transparency regarding our sustainability principles and initiatives.
